Free credit score report

Checking your credit score can be a little scary at times, but it's vital for lending purposes or just making sure your identity hasn't been stolen.

There are three websites that you can go to right now to check your credit score for free!  I personally used one of the sites this morning and surprisingly it was very simple! So I thought I'd pass the word along to you.

First and foremost, you want to protect your identity and credit.  Review legal information that highlights laws in place to protect your rights as a consumer from the Federal Trade Commission.

Sites to receive free credit score reports:

TransUnion

Equifax

Experian

After you receive your credit score, what's next?

What's considered a good number for a credit score?

I did TransUnion this morning and had no problems at all.  Just make sure you cancel your seven-day free trial or they will charge you!
