Countdown to Election Day: Do You Know Your State’s Constitutional Ammendments?
Election Day is Nov. 6th. To those that have voted, kudos. To those that will be voting Tuesday, here is a breakdown i.e. "cheat sheet" that will help explain the constitutional amendments listed on the Nov. 6th ballot. Like my elders say, it's always better to be prepared.
This Nov. 6, Louisianians will be consulted on far more than the presidency. Not everyone realizes they will have the chance to vote on issues including Guns, Medicaid Trust Fund for the Elderly, and Property Tax Exemption for Spouses of Deceased Veterans. It is time to turn off CNN or Fox news and pick up this handy cheat sheet.
Disclaimer: I am attempting to give a fair and concise picture of these amendments. However, only reading the materials made available to voters will ensure complete and perfect understanding.
Happy Voting! Cheers!
