Become a Career Mentor with NET Charter High School!
NET Charter High School needs people like you!
In order to help our students succeed, we are reaching out to professionals working in different fields throughout the greater New Orleans area to be Career Mentors.
Career mentoring benefits young people in a variety of ways:
- Youth develop the necessary skills to enter or continue on a career path
- Students become engaged in their work and take ownership of their learning
- Develop new interests from professionals in the field
- Begin the next stage of their life with sense of purpose
Mentors commit to offering short-term job shadow experiences or semester-long, non-paid internships where students report to their job site for anywhere up to two days per week.
Must be willing to submit to a background check.
